We loved the clam chowder, we loved the shrimp and we loved that we did not have to wait. The fish could use more seasoning though. Other than that we enjoyed our meal. Service was great too very nice staff.

I have been wanting to come here for such a long time. To my pleasant surprise my wife and daughter brought for me here for my birthday! I was so happy that I was taken aback! I ended up ordering a few things, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I had clam chowder, calamari, fish and chips, and the Sunday special, steak and lobster! Man! Did I have a great time with my family. The food was really good and the nice waitress treated us like family. I would definitely come back again!

This restaurant has been in business for decades. The booth dividers are a reminder that they survived Covid. I have not been there in many years since moving out of the area. However, it was worth the drive! The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful. The level of service was above average and we were waited on and served in a timely fashion. The food was hot and fresh. From the salad to the entrees, everything was very good. I recommend the grilled seafood platter. It includes a generous fish fillet, a skewer of shrimp, a skewer of scallops, and two sides for under $20! Great food and outstanding value. Really great dining experience!

Five star, sexy, succulent seafood abounds at the Shrimp House. As the name implies, this gem takes shrimp to cloud 9, but don't limit yourself there. They have a wide selection of fish and shellfish, even lobster, on the menu. The staff is friendly, and they make this intimate diner feel like a backyard fish fry. Service is speedy, and the shrimp are served hot and super crispy. I love the house cocktail sauce, which is lighter than most, not all ketchupy and sweet. Just add a little tabasco and thank me later. Big Plus is the Negra Modelo on tap. There's nothing like a cold, frothy draft beer to wash delicious fried shrimp and fish with. They also make killer grilled seafood. I love the sides, especially the coleslaw and red beans and rice. Absolutely delicious seafood experience on this unassuming corner yet super busy Live Oak and Myrtle intersection. Next time you're rushing by on the way home or to the mall stop in and get yourself some of the world's best friend shrimp... Definitely Top 3 in my opinion.

We've been coming to the Shrimp House for many years, and I realized that I've never posted a review! We had not visited for several years, since before the pandemic. Since we were in the area, we decided to go for a late lunch. Well, I'm so happy to report that the food quality, some of the staff, service and everything remains the same. Such an enjoyable experience to be back after such a long time. We ordered our favorite---the fried shrimp with rice pilaf and coleslaw. They are known for their fried shrimp, and it is excellent... "Breaded daily, with our own special recipe, butterflied and golden fried." The red sauce for the shrimp that is on the table is really good, and you can also request tartar sauce. The rice pilaf and coleslaw are absolutely delicious too---they are my favorite accompaniments to the fried shrimp. JJ also loves their clam chowder, and ordered a cup of this as well. This is a family run business, a casual family restaurant with nautical decor, friendly, cheerful ambience and great customer service. JJ always loves to chat with the Owner Nick (when he is available) who is very friendly and personable and takes great pride in his restaurant. They've had great conversations over the years, and JJ has shared with Nick how we used to go to the original Shrimp House in El Monte back in the day. When the El Monte location closed, it merged with the current location in Arcadia, where we have been coming ever since. Highly recommended.

My family has been coming here for years! I've never did a review here but it's about time. I'm not a seafood fan but they have decent salmon fillet which I do love, is fish out of the other seafood options. They have really good fried shrimp if you want to try, which is what they are popular for. This place been around for years and popular in San Gabriel Valley. The food is always fresh and they have daily deal combos, which you can't deny. The restaurant is really clean and the service is phenomenal always with the same servers for years. This is good for family outings and some good lunch! They have a lot of seafood options, chicken, and steak. Shrimp house is pretty spacious and with cute decor. Some things have changed on the menu overtime due to COVID but still good! I recommend you come here if you like seafood and also their clam chowder is bomb. Easy accessible parking with big lot!

Fellow yelper Kisha reviewed this place, so I decided to pay a visit! Service was quick and friendly. Food was decent. The tartar sauce complimented the fish well. The Clam Chowder was on the thicker side. It was warm and dense. We ordered the Shrimp Skewers and the Galley Special. 1. Side of Fries, Vegetables with the Galley Special. 2. Side of Rice Pilaf, Large Green Salad with the Two Shrimp Skewer. 3. Cup of Clam Chowder My favorite was the grilled shrimp.

I've been a customer for over fifteen years. The food is always hot and fresh. I love their fried shrimp and fish, it's so scrumptious. The waiters are friendly, funny, and professional. The restaurant is always nice and clean. The decor needs to be upgraded a little bit, but overall, it's a cool spot. They have a big menu to choose from with amazing prices. They have lunch and dinner specials daily. Nevertheless, It would be nice if they added baked potatoes to their menu. Parking is easy and they sell alcohol. This is a great place for quality seafood.
